Kingzrule's Incredibly Awesome Redstone Contraptions - Daylight sensors

Hi everybody, this is my first post so I thought I'd do a little bit of redstone. This slideshow shows you how to build a machine that keeps it daytime 24/7. You will need the following:

1 block of your choice
1 Daylight Sensor
3 Pieces of Redstone
1 Redstone torch

Shinekiwi's Super Awesome Things to Build - MYSTERY HOUSE!!!!!!

Hey guys,

So the time has come for me to show you the finale for my houses chain, my mystery house! (Which I know you've all been hanging out for ! XD) Okay, so my mystery house is based on an image of a really cool house I found on the internet. I based it on this, but then I sort of took it further, and made it a Shinekiwi style house! (Kind of...) I designed a few things myself, such as the fence, the cars and some of the animal pens. Here is the image of the house I based it on:

You like it? I did. So anyway, the moment you've all been waiting for; the presentation of my mystery house!

Hey Minecrafters! :D

As you (probably) already know, I've been doing a Mall series of blogposts, all about the mall I am currently building. This week is my fifth blogpost, so I have done quite a few shops now! :D This week I've built a big supermarket, and two beauty parlours, both requested via emails- Sophie's Pink Ear Piercing Parlour, and Kiipa's Nail Parlour and Spa. Hey guys,

Here is my sixth house, sorry it isn't my mystery one, that post will follow, it's just I forgot to post this house! This is my survival house I did with a fellow minecrafter - kingzrule! We spent a while on this one, and we are both quite proud of it, as it's pretty good for a survival house! This powerpoint is pretty cool, because *kingz helped to make it!

Hey Minecrafters!

As you know, for the past few weeks, I've been building a mall with many different shops. This is my 4th edition of my mall. This week I've built Lucy's Hairdresser, Kathleen's Ice Cream Parlor, a Bookstore, a Bubble Tea shop and two escalators to the car park (in progress! XD ). Lucy's Hairdresser and Kathleen's Ice Cream Parlor were both chosen by Lucy and Kathleen. Thanks Lucy and Kathleen for your ideas! Here's the photopeach.

Welcome to 1.8!!!!

Hey guys!

Don't know if your aware, but 1.8 is out!!!! After playing on it for the last week, here is a list of my favourite features!!!

Andesite, Diorite and Granite

This is amazing! These new kind of stones make life so much more interesting while mining! Plus, you can make great houses out of them. Sky and I have already made a house, and I made a castle with some of my non-crafter friends.

Rabbits

These little cuties really make my day! Seeing little bunny rabbits hopping along is soooo adorable! Good thing killing them doesn't give you anything amazing, I could never kill these things!!!

Ocean Temples

Although I have never conquered one of these on survival, I really want to. That is my goal on my new survival world, find an ocean temple and get a water-breathing armour so I can beat it!

Banners

Making castles got so much more interesting than these. They are sort of like flags. Plus, I've seen great designs of people making country flags! I want to make Hogwarts houses banners with these!

Armour Stands

They don't just look cool, they actually store your armour. Good if you don't want it to get damaged, and it's a nice display! A must have for every house, and easy to craft!

In conclusion, 1.8 is amazing! Thanks Jeb! Can't wait for new, amazing updates! Tell me what you think of it!

Hey Minecrafters!

Enjoying the 1.8 Update? I surely am! :) Anyway, this week is my third edition of my Mall Series. This week we have a Hoyts Cinema, an Apple store and a Cafe. The cinema has two theatres, both with backlit seats and screen (backlit the name for a glitch where light shows through stairs and slabs- it looks epic!). Here's the photopeach:

What do I love about 1.8

Hi guys,

Here are 5 things I love about 1.8 in no particular order.

1. Doors are now stackable. This may seem silly but you don't know how handy this really is.

2. MUTTON!!!!!!!!

3. Banners. OMG these are so cool (Will post some more things you can do with banners).

4. Different Fences. When building a jungle house you don't know how good it looks doing the type of wood.

5. Different doors. These doors all look different giving you more options on how your place looks.

Of course I love everything but those are my faves. Sorry My surprise will be held back a bit. I need to 1.8 it. Comment your 5 fave things about 1.8 below.

Shinekiwi's Quick Tip of the Week

Hey guys,

So the new update is out - 1.8 - YAY!!! Pretty exciting huh?! Well anyway, I'm still working on my mystery house for you guys, so here is my quick tip of the week, and it's great for you slightly lazier minecrafters out there:

Use a night vision potion so you don't have to set the time! ;)

This is great because you can just drink a potion that lasts for 8 minutes, and then you don't have to keep resetting the time - especially if you're building - because I know that that can be really annoying.

Cutie's Update!!!!

Hey Minecrafters,

1.8 is officially out! There are bunnies, slimeblocks, new foods, new materials, new stone types, there's soooo much to think about!!!!!! Anyway, I took a photo of bunnies on a slimeblock. I might have gone a bit overboard with the bunnies.....
